Enjoy an array of heartwarming festive treats from the first of December, centred around celebrations. From a toasty rendition of our award-winning, hand crafted Xiao Long Bao dumplings with a Tom Yum broth, to decadent Chocolate Lava Buns and an exclusive set menu, the collection brims authentic festivities. Din Tai Fung Bar will also unveil three Christmas inspired cocktails, alongside festive hand painted window displays across its three London locations.
Experience limited edition dishes and a culinary craftsmanship feast
The limited-edition Tom Yum Xiao Long Bao is an aromatic take on our iconic steamed dumplings, meticulously handcrafted with eighteen folds behind their open show kitchen. These warming, broth-filled parcels contain a fragrant Tom Yum soup made with over 20 ingredients, with a succulent chicken and prawn filling. Sweet cravings can also be satisfied with their limited edition 66% cocoa Chocolate Lava Bun – a luscious dessert with a molten chocolate centre that is a festive twist on their signature Custard Lava Buns.
At Din Tai Fung Selfridges, an exclusive set menu is already available and tailored for Christmas shoppers to enjoy an ingredient-led experience. Priced at £100 per two diners and available for groups of two and four, menu highlights include the Crispy Golden Prawn Pancakes and the Mushroom & Truffle Xiao Long Bao handmade with Shiitake, Shimeji, Enoki and Eryngii mushroom filling, enriched with white truffle oil. The set menu also marks the majestic return of the Selfridges exclusive wok fried Prawn and Egg Fried Rice tossed in an umami XO sauce, made with rice directly sourced from Taiwan.
Toast to the holidays with unique festive cocktails
Offering several twists on well-loved cocktails, our festive concoctions allow guests to truly embrace the spirit of Christmas. Joining the cocktail list are Purple Frost, which incorporates Din Tai Fung Bar’s homemade mulled wine with hints of orange served chilled, Winter Whisper, a sweet and nutty cocktail incorporating pistachio rum, cacao blanc, double cream and honey, in addition to Snowdrift, a warming flute of Bacardi spiced, coffee, Frangelico and cream.
Elevate festive celebrations with unique dining experiences
For large Christmas parties this December, Din Tai Fung Centre Point nestled in the heart of Tottenham Court Road has a range of private and semi-private dining spaces available. From an intimate table for 10 to a seated banquet for 64 with views across the bustling Oxford Street, St Giles Square and the twinkling London skyline beyond, there is a space to suit every need.
For guests looking to elevate their celebrations further, we offer a one-of-a-kind Xiao Long Bao Masterclass add-on to all weekday bookings in the private dining rooms – providing an interactive look at the process behind the brand’s iconic dish. Each 45-minute masterclass will be closely supervised by specially trained chefs while guests try their hand at making their own Xiao Long Bao, which require 18 delicate folds.
For the first time ever, bookings across all three London locations are now open for more than a month in advance, and can be made until 31 December.
